Our Roots
Kipasi Experiences was born from a real family story – from the meeting of two worlds and a deeply personal way of understanding travel.
Conceived by a Spanish father and a Kenyan mother, our family-run project blends thoughtful planning, personal accompaniment and the traditions, values and perspectives of both cultures.
Our dual identity – African soul and European craft – inspires the way we imagine experiences that combine local insight with careful attention to detail.
Kipasi is our son’s name – a symbol of the union between our cultures and the way we see the world: with curiosity, humility and an open heart.
The minds behind Kipasi
Our Kenyan soul (Lasoi): Maasai electrical engineer and MBA graduate who could light up a country or run a corporation, yet got unexpectedly won over by a Spanish Mzungu armed with rice and saffron. Proof that even genius can be bribed with good paella.
The Lucky Mzungu (Vincent): Valencian geological engineer and globe-trotting sales pro who went to Africa for work… and came back with a wife, a new home and a mission to one day become minimally competent at milking cows.
Why 2026 Is Our Starting Point
Kipasi Experiences launches in 2026 – built on a lifetime of genuine connections in Kenya.
Lasoi has a deep connection to her homeland – its people, rhythms and hidden places beyond any guidebook. Through her, Vincent stopped being a visitor and started belonging.
Our family trips were never research, but simply part of our lives – visiting relatives, sharing meals and feeling at home. But somewhere along the way, we realized something: the Kenya we were living was completely different from what most travellers ever get to see.
That gap is what Kipasi Experiences is meant to bridge. Not through packaged tours or standard itineraries, but through personal accompaniment, trusted local relationships and meaningful experiences shared from within.

Personal accompaniment sits at the heart of the Kipasi approach – present when needed, discreet when not.
Every journey will be personally designed, seamlessly coordinated and overseen by us. On the ground, we will accompany your private group as dedicated hosts, translators and cultural bridges, ensuring Kenya is experienced not as tourists, but as guests.
Because we spend extended time in Kenya each year, we have developed close relationships with guides, lodge owners and local communities, helping future journeys feel effortless, welcoming and deeply immersive.
